Decorative mosaic duck plate, made using a Poole Pottery retro ceramic plate from the 1980’s, featuring an image painted by the artist John Gould (1804-1881), who was known as ‘The Bird Man’.  This deconstructed piece, is a humorous homage to the many pictorial plates that are collected by bird enthusiasts and nature lovers.  I also have a passion for birds, and they have become a common feature in my work.  This piece is fully weather proof and will brighten up any garden wall.
