Scallop shell decorated with original Alfred Meakin ‘Seaside’ series plate, using a mixture of a ‘Brixham’ plate and a ‘Polperro’ plate, circa 1950. Can be used as a soap dish, paper weight or just a simple decorative item to brighten up your home. Colourful and nostalgic, contains the classic motifs that were so reminiscent of the 1951 Festival of Britain era.
