Replica life size resin skull, decorated with ceramics, glass and mirror, depicting the Aladdin Sane lightening bolt, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the album by David Bowie in 2023.  I am a huge fan of Bowie and grew up with his music, and the iconographic lightening bolt motif is a favourite of mine.  I have added a ceramic bird and text, to this celebratory piece, that I hope will appeal to fellow Bowie fans.  This is my nod to ‘pop art’, with a sculptural twist in the form of a kitsch ceramic bird perched at a rakish angle.  This is an indoor piece, and would look groovy in any setting!
