Mosaic workshop – The Pulse – Sunlight Centre
One of my corporate clients, West Kent Housing Association, run several community outreach projects including The Pulse at The Sunlight Centre in Gillingham. West Kent Communities who organise resident involvement projects, asked me if I could run a mosaic workshop over 2 sessions, and I jumped at the chance. Over the two mornings, eight people made a mosaic tile using vintage crockery, mirror, shells, and glass beads, as well as learn how to grout the completed design. I always look forward to running this type of workshop, as it’s so rewarding to see people tapping into their creativity and mosaic never fails to spark one’s imagination!
